Greystar: bp pulse charger migration

ELMPARK EV / BP PULSE BUYER-FUNDED PROJECT

Existing charge points.
A new home on ElmPark EV.

ElmPark EV migrated 23 charge points, providing 46 charging sockets, at Greenford Quay in Greenford for Greystar. The equipment was part of the bp pulse buyer-funded network and was debranded, rebranded and connected to ElmPark EV CPMS, with ElmPark EV taking on ongoing network management.

What the client needed

The team at Greystar needed a new charge point operator arrangement for the site-owned equipment at Greenford Quay. The priority was to retain compatible charging assets and make a planned transition with minimal disruption to resident charging.

The charge points had been part of the bp pulse buyer-funded network. ElmPark EV reviewed the existing installation and planned the move onto our platform, drawing on our hands-on experience with bp pulse charging equipment.

How we prepared the move

We agreed the equipment, configuration access, branding and migration date before attending. Preparing the ElmPark EV platform connection in advance helped keep the time the charge points were offline to a minimum. This was phased over 2 days to minimise downtime for residents who required to have access of charging.

The migration work

STEP 01

Check and prepare

We reviewed the charger make and model, condition, connectivity and configuration access. We confirmed compatibility and the agreed migration scope for the charge points at Greenford Quay.

STEP 02

Debrand and rebrand

We removed the previous network branding and applied ElmPark EV branding, charger identifiers and driver instructions, clearly showing site users how to access the new service.

STEP 03

Connect to ElmPark EV

We reconfigured the compatible charge points onto ElmPark EV CPMS and checked their communications. Site details, agreed tariffs and driver access were set up for the new network.

STEP 04

Test and hand over

We checked platform connectivity and completed functional charging checks, including the agreed access and payment routes where applicable. We then handed over the working charge points and client dashboard access.

Rebranded. Connected.
Ready to use.

The migrated charge points at Greenford are connected to ElmPark EV CPMS and were handed over ready to use following configuration and functional charging checks. The project retained the compatible equipment, with ElmPark EV taking on network operation and support.

Handover timing: Phased 2 days. Greystar and site level now has dashboard access for an overview of its connected charging network, while our team manages the day-to-day service.

Client dashboard access

Greystar and Greenford Quay manager has access to the client dashboard for an overview of its connected charging network, including charger status, charging activity, energy use, sessions and reports.

The client keeps visibility of its charging assets and their use, while ElmPark EV looks after day-to-day network operation. Dashboard access and the available views were explained as part of the handover.

Managed by ElmPark EV

Our network team manages the agreed access rules, tariffs, payment administration and reporting, with 24/7 driver support and business-hours client support.

On-site maintenance and annual health checks can also be included through an agreed service plan, giving you a clear arrangement for both network management and equipment care.

Have bp pulse buyer-funded charge points?

If you own bp pulse buyer-funded charge points and are ready to appoint a new CPO, we can review the options for moving compatible equipment onto ElmPark EV. Send us the site location, charger make and model, the number of charge points and sockets, and a few equipment photographs.

Migration is subject to charger compatibility, condition, connectivity, configuration access and the owner being able to appoint a new CPO. Same-day return to service is a target for compatible, prepared equipment; the scope and timing are confirmed for each site. Maintenance cover is defined in the agreed service plan.
