2. Information we collect
When you use the property enquiry form, we may collect your name, company, email address, telephone number, property or project type and the information included in your message. If you contact driver support directly, we may receive your contact details, charger or location reference, session information and the details needed to investigate your request.
Our website hosting and security services may also create technical records such as an IP address, browser or device information, request time, pages requested and security-event information. We do not ask you to submit special-category information through the website.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to respond to enquiries, provide quotations or information requested before a contract, support drivers, assess charger or site requirements, maintain the security and operation of the website, keep appropriate business records and comply with legal obligations.
4. Our lawful bases
Depending on the purpose, we rely on one or more lawful bases under UK data-protection law:
- Steps before entering into a contract or performance of a contract when you ask us for a quotation, service information or support connected with an agreement.
- Legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries, operating and improving our services, protecting our systems and keeping proportionate business records. We consider these interests against your rights and freedoms.
- Legal obligation where we must retain or disclose information to comply with law.
- Consent where we specifically ask for it. You can withdraw consent at any time.
5. Sharing information
We do not sell personal information. We will not share it with third parties for their own purposes without your prior consent. We may, however, use carefully selected service providers that process information on our behalf where necessary to operate the website, deliver email, host systems, provide technical support or maintain security. We may also disclose information where required by law, to establish or defend legal rights, or to protect people and systems from fraud or misuse.
Service providers are permitted to use the information only for the agreed service and must protect it appropriately.
6. International transfers
Some technology providers may process information outside the UK. Where this happens, we require an appropriate legal transfer mechanism and safeguards recognised by UK data-protection law. You may contact us for more information about the safeguards relevant to your information.
7. How long we keep information
We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose for which it was collected. Website enquiries, support correspondence and related business records are retained for no longer than six years. We may delete information earlier when it is no longer required. At the end of the applicable period, information is securely deleted or anonymised unless a legal obligation or active legal claim requires it to be kept for longer.
8. How we protect information
We use proportionate technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or loss. Access is limited to people and providers who need the information for an authorised purpose. No internet or email system can be guaranteed completely secure.
9. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to ask for access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, restriction, portability, or to object to processing. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. These rights are not absolute and may depend on the lawful basis and circumstances.
Your right to object: You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Tell us about your circumstances so we can consider the request.
10. Automated decisions
We do not use information submitted through this website to make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
11. Contact and complaints
To ask a privacy question or exercise a right, email hello@elmparkev.co.uk or write to the registered office above. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
