Why the contractor chose ElmPark EV
Four reasons behind the choice of CPMS for this project.
01
A back office ready for the project
ElmPark EV provided an established CPMS for compatible charge points, with onboarding and site configuration agreed for the installation. The contractor had a back-office solution to bring into the project.
02
Visibility for the right people
The dashboard brought charger status, charging activity and reports into one place. User access could be arranged for the relevant contractor or client team, reflecting the roles agreed for the project.
03
A choice of management services
The available CPMS packages gave the contractor a route for customers wanting to administer their own network and those wanting ElmPark EV to manage it. This project used our Unmanaged system.
04
A clear route to handover
Platform configuration, dashboard access and ongoing responsibilities were set out before handover. The contractor could explain how the charging service would work and where the agreed support would come from.
The contractor’s brief
Purdham & Waugh was looking for CPMS hosting for the charge points in this project. The requirement was to connect the compatible equipment and provide a clear back-office arrangement for National Highways.
ElmPark EV supplied the platform for the selected service, with access and reporting arranged for the agreed users. This approach can support a contractor’s own chargers or charge points delivered for a client.
What ElmPark EV set up
We onboarded the compatible ICS charge points onto ElmPark EV CPMS, checked communications and configured the site and charger records. Driver access and tariff settings were set up where required.
Dashboard access and available reports were explained to the relevant team members. The handover set out who would administer the network and handle support under the selected CPMS package.

A connected installation.
A back office for handover.
The charge points at National Highways are connected to ElmPark EV CPMS, with the back office configured for Contractor and Client and the selected service. The project went live on September 2026.
Purdham & Waugh brought a CPMS solution into the project, with the relevant users able to review the connected charging equipment, activity and reports through the dashboard.
Access for the agreed users
Dashboard permissions are arranged around the agreed contractor and client roles. The available views bring together charger status, charging sessions, energy use and reports for the connected installation.
The setup gives the relevant users visibility of the equipment and its use, with access matched to their agreed responsibilities.
The service chosen for this project
This project used an Unmanaged service where Elmpark EV provides training and support on how to use. The selected package sets out the approach to network administration, platform support and driver enquiries.
Where managed operation or maintenance is included, the scope is agreed for the site. The handover makes those responsibilities clear to the contractor and the client.
